Courthouse Technologies is pleased to announce that the Hidalgo County District Court has signed on with CHT to have us host a turnkey implementation of our Jury Platform! The court in Edinburg, TX is subscribing to use our core system, Courthouse JMS along with Courthouse eResponse, our public facing self-service application; Courthouse IVR, our interactive voice response system; Courthouse IDS, our summons image and data capture system; Courthouse SMS, text-messaging service; and, Courthouse SummonsDirect; our summons printing, mailing, and address verification service. The project will replace the former Xerox - Juror for Windows program and will be the 6th county in Texas to enter into agreement with Courthouse Technologies and will allow the County to start a new year with a new jury system and a fresh approach to engaging the public.
"It’s great that Hidalgo County sees CHT as the best option to improve their jury operation," says VP of Client Services, John Arntsen, “With the recent Go-Lives in Bell and Parker Counties this year, we are looking forward to getting Hidalgo County up and running as quickly as possible to make 2019 the best year yet.” The project kicked off last week with the goal of going live by December of this year.
This is also the first contract CHT has in the State of Texas using the Texas DIR (Department of Information Resources). CHT was awarded a contract with the DIR back in the Spring and allows any county in the state to use the DIR’s collective purchasing agreement to acquire our platform without the need of a procurement mechanism like an RFP or RFQ. The agreement also provides all state and local government with the best possible subscription pricing CHT offers. If you have any questions about how you can take advantage of this agreement, please give us a call at 1-877-685-2199 or email us at email@example.com.
